Multistakeholders Dialogue in La Union

A Multistakeholders Dialogue was held at the Capitol of La Union in San Fernando City to present the draft research of KADUAMI on the “Impacts of Climate Change on Coastal Communities in 5 municipalities of La Union” last July 12, 2013. It was attended by 111 participants of which 28 were regional and provincial direcotrs from government agencies. Local Government Units in the three towns in the research areas (Bauang, Aringay and Agoo) were represented by Sangguniang Bayan and Municipal Planning Officer. Leaders and members of Peasant organizations and the fisherfolk organization, TIMEK or Timpuyog ti Nagkaykaysa a Mangngalap ti La Union were present. The academe was also represented as well as church people in the research areas.
