From what I read on another site, the <a href="http://indigenousissuestoday.blogspot.com/2008/02/ifugao-indigenous-peoples-of.html" rel="nofollow">Ifugao indigenous peoples</a> are already being impacted by a number of other factors, especially the conversion of traditional land and crops to non-traditional crops. Mining would just bring another burden. I hope the FPIC reverses its decision. This is terrible news.
